Has anyone used him before? in progressive? I was given chase vs. my pick Cabrera and it looks like a nice card but is it really worth 10+ $ dollars? I was thinking the money could be spent elsewhere is this card worth keeping?

Can't complain. Headley gave me my money's worth in Progressive

He was less effective at Great American, was terrible against LHP

Theoretically I don't like Headly for the price. As you mentioned, close to Miggy's price with a lesser card. He does have speed and OB with low DP's vs RHP, probably best #2 (vs RHP) card in the set. But vs LHP, more of a 6/7/8 hitter, For 10 mil I would want a card that could play high in the lineup vs both LHP and RHP.

Now I also know how little true OB is in this set. I've ended up using Wright more times than I care as I crave some OB for the top part of my lineups. So depending on who else is out there, you may not be able to do any better.

If Headley gave you your moneys worth, what did Chris Davis give you? :D

Holy crap.

I'm pretty new but the first rule of advice for newbies should be "pitching is a meaningless sideshow"

That Chris Davis season is worth more than having Kershaw.

Here's a rather less impressive season for Headly at Progressive:

He certainly wasn't worth 10+ million for me in on that team.

Because of his price, he's not my top choice, but he's had 900+ OPS each time I've had him (hitters parks).

I'm torn. 10 mil is A LOT of $. However, there does not seem to be many progressive type 3rd basemen out there right now. No Solid lefties with BPHRs and the best righty fit I could see is Prado. Any suggestions for a cheaper 3b that fits Progressive Field well? (There are  5 in our league, 3 in my division!! :o ) how about cheapie platoons?

Since I am asking for help, this is my first time using progressive so if you have any other all around great progressive players you might want to suggest, I would be all ears! :P

These are the guys I'm holding for sure, the rest I am open to suggestions :

SP :
C.Lee
J.Zimmerman
T.Cahill
(?) C.Richard (weak sauce?)

RP :

S.Cishek
(?) F.Rodney (2 expensive?)

Hitters :
G.Stanton RF
B.Moss LF

(?) A.Ramirez SS (good value?)
J.Altuve/M.Fontenot DH
M.Scutaro 2b

(?) C.Headley 3b (2 expensive?)
(?) J.Jaso C (with cheapie L platoon?)

I'm thinking  10 million could be better spent in other areas...
:geek: As you can see, my team needs Help :?
