Okay I know technically we are only supposed to post about the 20XX games here, but I am getting desperate. We have been trying to fill this 1970s Mystery League (with DH) for THREE WEEKS. We just need six more guys. All veterans and beginners are welcome. I am new to the mystery league concept, but it sounds very intriguing and fun. With the Mystery Leagues you have to pay attention to all your games and make roster moves to improve your team. If you are new to the mystery game or have never tried it, take comfort in knowing you will not be the only beginner. So put together a great 1970s 80 million dollar Mystery League team with DH and come join the fun. There is plenty of time and plenty of room. Thanks and good luck in all your leagues.

^^^ No problem, Radagast. Posts are welcome, and 200X ends up being a clearinghouse or catch-all for posts, so no problem.

I recommend the mystery games to everyone - they're great! I absolutely love the 70's the best, since that was when I first followed baseball, and followed it the most. (My brother and I discovered strat together, and the 1971, 1972, 1973 card sets were how we got hooked! The original 1971 set (if I remember right) was the last set that didn't have lefty-righty split cards!).

Radagast, I'll join sometime in the next 10 days, if it isn't filled yet. Just need to "earn" some credits first, one way or another.

:)

Radagast,

I would LOVE to play some of the mystery card sets, the only probalme is I LOATHE the mystery card format. and yes I've tried it.

I don't go into a grocery store and buy produce in a sealed bag that I can't see inside of, nor do I want what Strat players I'm buying be a mystery, I want to know what I'm paying for. Iwould love it if they'd release some of the mystery sets as non mystery games, but alas I don't see it happening.
