I was looking to sign up for a league and noticed 2011 and 2011u for the league type/year. Can anyone tell me the difference? Thanks in advance.?

There are a handful and a half of certain players that did very well but didn't get enough at-bats or innings pitched to warrant being included in the regular set so they included them in the "u" or unleashed sets. I'll see if I can find the players added that season.

Thank you sir, for the explanation. In the Strat world, that makes perfect sense. I suppose it is so you won't have a .400 hitter with 50 AB's as your everyday player? And the "u" league makes that possible?
Definitely makes it a different league altogether!

Exactly. You got it. Of course there's still some controversy involved in who is and is not unleashed in a given season.
