Season to Season Keeper League - Feel Free to Join

The Season to Season Keeper League is a new league based on the very successful NO DH KEEPER LEAGUE. It is a 24 team league that advances from 2007 to 2013. The core players on your team are "kept" season to season. It is a fun experience and much more strategic than a stand alone one season league. The league rules are listed below.

Season to Season Keeper League Rules

General
7 Season Commitment (2007-2008-2009-2010-2011-2012-2013)
 Teams will be allowed to change ballparks at the beginning of a new card set year. The new ballpark must not be used by any other team in the League at the time of the change.
 Teams are expected to engage in fair play. Any complaints or concerns must be submitted to the Commissioner in writing. The decision of the Commissioner shall be final.
 Cap will be $70 million.
 Playoff structure will be determined by the site.
 8 team playoffs: 4 division champions and 4 wild cards determined by best records.
 First round of playoffs best 3 of 5
 Second round of playoffs best 4 of 7
 Championship series best 4 of 7
 Prizes will be determined by the site.
 One free team credit for each division champion
 One free team credit for championship series loser
 Two free team credits for league champion
Outline of League Year
Below is the list of activities of a league year. The Commissioner will set up a new league at the end of a season and send the password to all owners. Once set up, owners will follow the steps listed below:
 Start New Team
 Choose Team Name (it is suggested that franchise keep their basic name for the sake of continuity)
 Prepare Draft List using master keeper list (see below)
 Choose Ballpark (see ballpark rule above)
 Join New League (set up by Commissioner)
 Draft
 Waivers
 Free Agent Signings/Trades (after waivers)
 Begin season (Teams will be allowed to make trades and release players up to game 142. No player movement is allowed after game 142. All drops during the season will be subject to a 10% penalty per the rules of the site)
 Keeper List will be submitted to goedhart34@aol.com following the end of game 162 (Always a Friday). Lists shall be submitted the day following the end of game 162 (Saturday). A master list of keeper players by team will be sent to each owner on the Sunday following the end of the season.

Keeper Rules
 Teams must list 13 players from their existing roster to be kept in the following season.
 Teams must list their keepers in slots 1-13 on their draft list. Teams are not allowed to list other team’s keepers on their draft list.
 In the event that a mistake is made in the draft process and a team's keeper player is placed on another team, said team shall release that player and the rightful team shall claim their player though waivers or free agency.
