I see there is a new 73 card (printed and for computer games) set that SoM is advertising---I wonder if anyone knows if that set will be available for online play soon??

Just like Sgt. Schultz, "I know nothing" but I sure hope that is the case!

the single year sets don't tend to sell well, so I would highly doubt it.

I would think the 1973 season would do as well ONLINE as the 1986 season does!!

I would play it, but I think both the 1972 and 1974 seasons were more interesting. I'd like to see a single season where pitching was king. In the seventies 3 seasons averaged less than 8 runs per games, '71 '72 and '76. In the Sixties you have '63 and '65-'68. 1968 of course was the lowest in modern history (6.84 runs per game) and as such might be a bit TOO extreme. But it would be fun playing in conditions where every run seems just a little bigger

We had that in the 1969 game but they took it away from us.

I'd play '69 as well, but at 8.14 and with the HR spike there are MANY better seasons for pitching
