Pulling My Hair Out - Please Help

This team is going to be the death of me. I have watched every inning of every game and can't believe the ways I lose. The problem is that a lot of the numbers are good. But it has been half a season and I stink. I have never had a losing season and haven't changed my approach to drafting and free agency. Any ideas on what's up would be greatly appreciated.

Really thanks for any help, I'm going crazy.

I don't even have to look at your team and can tell you. Unlimited cap leagues are a complete crap shoot. Everyone gets the highest salaried guy they can and roll the dice. IMO, there's just no strategy involved at all. I stay away, far away from these type leagues.

I didn't want to be the first one to post that. Unless it's mandatory in a tourney I'll rarely go above $80M and never above $100M. As for the team, I would of kept Choo and used him only against RHP. His results were skewed by a huge pitcher roll bias. Byrd was killing LHP. A Choo/Byrd platoon made sense.

This is my team at Target Field. We have unique stadiums and this is our largest salaried teams followed by AL only players and then NL only players. This team cannot hit LHP and I am at a loss as well. SGT D

I like your team in that ballpark. The first thing I notice, Choo is a great card but should no way be playing CF. Also, Verlander not really geared for this ballpark

I agree with jeep 100%! If you lucky you win. All-star rosters abound...

Absolutely on-point. Unlimited caps involve zero strategy.

I totally get your point on the cap, never even thought about it. But this team is impossible to figure. The numbers on a lot of guys are fine, the bullpen and defense are great. I have ONE clutch hit all season and converting about 20 percent of all HR opportunities. I understand the game, just never seen anything like this. And why doesn't Strat allow you to check clutch hitting, because that would explain a lot.

Don't know what I'm missing, but the numbers (especially on offense) do not look all that good to me. For example, Gonzalez ,Venable and Rizzo are doing terrible. The starters give up a lot of HRs.

A link to the team stats for the league would help so we can see how the team is performing relative to the league. That OBA of .317 is not good.

Here is the link to the league stats by team - middle of everything. Look at the hits to HR percentage on my pitchers and I play in Target. The overall numbers are way, way better than the record. It has to be unclutch hitting and pitching - those are the only items I can think of.
