The first completed 2013 set regular season leagues ended tonight.

Sierra had 67 Doubles in 558 at bats well ahead of second place Wil Myer's 52.

That is definitely a lot of doubles, and I always kind of thought Wil Myers was an under-appreciated card. However, how satisfied were you with Sierra's overall production? I've waffled on drafting Sierra a few times before, and I'd like to know if you were happy with his season.

Those doubles chances and results are ridiculous but obviously Moses can only be used as a DH. He does have a very intriguing card.

Overall I would say no and haven't used Sierra again. Despite the doubles and decent .oba his runs scored and rbis were disappointing. I thought batting him 2nd behind Shin-Choo against RHP would result in a ton of rbi doubles. At $3.18M it's a tough call to use him. Against a HR friendly ballpark with a lefty starter sometimes I used Hairston at DH -very happy with him at .50

I also found Shin-Choo to be overpriced. Too many holes in his game to justify paying that (unless you're in a mega payroll league and can afford to platoon him)

Here's the team so you can judge for yourself. Given the team record I might be too harsh on those guys, but many of my lower price guys produced.

I drafted him and cut him about 1/3 in to the season. Partly my own fault, as I was using him every day at DH, and he really should sit vs lefties, but 17 rbi just weren't cutting it and I was sub par vs lefty starters

That's a nice looking platoon! ..... It is not really Moises' fault if he is not driving in runs, in fact he is a positive clutch, even though that rarely comes up..... Peralta has a nice card for platooning, I keep forgetting to draft him early enough.

This season just finished. He had 90 doubles. He's generally been one of my more consistent hitters, across a lot of teams.

Although, for this other team he didn't do so well.

103 2-baggers. That is as high of slugging % as I can remember with only 1 home run.

I have gotten some pretty high slugging percentages out of guys like Carew and Gwynn in the older games when they had less than five HRs. But I guess that is besides the point. A plus .500 slugging average with only one HR is quite impressive.

It obviously looks like Sierra Moses has the most doubles chances but Matt Carpenter is hitting a lot of doubles in a lot of leagues. I have him on pace for about 90 doubles in one league.
