Well, I pretty much always missed on Moss in the 2012 set, except one time and he put out one of the worst seasons that great card ever produced. So, I thought I would give him a shot in the new set. I shouldn't have. My team was at Progressive, probably the 2nd best park in the set for him, and his performance was terrible.
Moss .182/.262/.363 vs. his carded stats of .256/.337/.859. For 7.31 million I certainly expected a lot better. It's not like his awesome defense made up for it! So a nearly 500 point drop in OPS for a middle of the order guy. He batted 4th vs. RHP and 6th vs LHP usually. He's positive clutch, so it certainly wasn't that and actually rolled more on his own card than on the pitcher's cards. He was a bit unlucky in BP-SI, but about team average in BP-HRs. The only thing he did way better than his card was strike out!

Very disappointing and certainly played a huge role in my team's dismal performance. (although Drew, Phillips and Kelly Johnson did their part too. ) I assume he's done OK for others?
