New Theme League - The Stadium League
Posted: Fri May 16, 2014 12:35 pmEver put together a nice small ball team and end up in a division with Coors, Yankee Stadium and US Cell? Ever draft a bunch of thumpers only to end up in a division of AT&T, Petco and Marlins Park? You get the idea.
$80 mil, DH, 5/10/20, waivers, reg. set (not unleashed)
The three divisions will be unique in that one division will be all hitters parks (US Cell, Great American, Coors, Miller), one division will be all pitchers parks (Marlins, Petco, AT&T, PNC) and the final division will be lefty leaning parks (Progressive, Dodger, Citizens and Turner)
When you sign up you must choose one of the twelve ballparks ( I will select the last unchosen park). The real test of this league will be if you can put together a good draft card knowing that you will be up against at least three other teams who want the same type of player you want. Then if you are lucky enough to make the playoffs you might find your power lineup hitting in a pitchers park!
