A first for me. Travis Wood pitched his 2nd no-no of the season. Anyone else have multiple no-hitters?

Gary Peters did it for me in a 60s league:

Game 59:

He had an interesting year in another way. He was 12-18 at one point, and he looked destined to become a 20-game loser. However, he went 8-1 to finish the season and ended up 20-19!

PS: Oops! I just realized I posted about a 60s team in the 20xx forum.

Jeff Samardzija did it on one of my 2012 teams.

Wood and Samardzija - both are Cubs! I find that amusing for some reason.

That's impressive two no-hitters in 4 starts by a $2.72 pitcher.

For under $3 Mil that is very impressive.

In the 2009 card set Robinson Tejeda was a RP3 but had a starter rating of 5. I started a thread to post your No-Hitters and he had 27 or more that year. It was during the set for the year not just one season. I believe Jeepdriver lead the set with 4 or 5 from him. I got 3 during that set. He had many 1 and 2 hit games. He didn't have a hit on his card.

I never had a pitcher throw two no hitters in the same season but did have two different pitchers throw a no hitter in a span of ten games from the 2007 season.

I think Lincecum might get it done vs. my Padres.

Hell, so might anyone with an arm and fielders behind them!

Kershaw missed out on back-to-back no hitters "when Brandon Crawford singled with two outs in the 9th inning."
