Maybe those interested in bringing this season back can put their name here and I'll send a email to SOM.

SOM ran a poll and 1969 won easily over other sets. I think 1968 came in 2nd. So they know.

I would play 1969. I wouldn't mind a late 1970s season (like 1977) and/or a 1980s season (80, 83,84, 85, 87) either but for now I will take the new ATG8. If you really want to play 1969 you could always buy the CD-ROM, it will make you a better on-line player too.

I'd sure play it, but I'd prefer 68, 72, 71, 73 or 74

Don't understand. It was the full 24 teams.

Add my name to any list regarding the 1969 SOM season - terrific mixture of HOF players, deep but not overpowering starting pitching and enough R/L platoons to keep it interesting. Add in the 24 teams, and you have the perfect set for theme leagues.

I have no interest in a 1969 league, but, if there's a mass demand for it, I'm all for SOM bringing it back.
However, being biased towards the seasons of my childhood, I would also prefer a late 70's season, preferably 1977 or 78. I would love to see players from those great Dodgers, Reds, Red Sox, Yankees and Royals teams (and others). I would also like to see the great individual seasons--e.g. Foster's beastly '77 and Rice and Guidry's monster 1978 seasons--from those years freed from the chance for variation of the mystery games.
