Greatest Shortstops/Greatest Films-2000s

By "Greatest Shortstops," I actually mean the greatest shortstops since WWII. That means the greatest shortstops who played most, if not all of their careers since WW II. There are obviously different standards to judge this most key position. Feel free to use and/or express your own when doing so. Choose up to 10.

The second part of the poll is greatest films of the 2000s. We're almost 15 years into the millennium, so we should all already have a good set of favorite and/or best movies of it. It's easy to remember the great films of our youth, sometimes it takes a little more thought to come up with our recent faves. Again, choose up to 10.

Can't really argue with your list but maybe Banks should be higher over Tejada and Visquel. I didn't see one movie on your list

I get you, Alk. Banks is a tough one. He was such a dominant offensive player, but he really wasn't a shortstop. So, I put him at 8 behind the vastly superior defensive Vizquel and the better defensive but also offensively awesome Tejada.

As to my movies, I recommend every one. I'm surprised you never saw The Dark Knight at least. If you can think of your faves, please share.

I knew he played 1st in the end didn't know he played more games at 1st. His back to back MVP's was as a SS.

I find no fault with your SS list and even applaud Ripken over Jeter (a DC Oriole fan until we got our own team).
