Do you guys think Tyson Ross is gonna be a SP* in the next set ? I think he's just below the line (31 games) and he has just less than 200 IP. So my guess NO but got to ask.

It's close, 31 starts, 195 innings, might be S6* I feel more confident if he was over 200ip

Gio Gonzalez was the lowest last year with 31 and 197 to have SP*

I would say he is right there on top of the fence and depending on which way the breeze is blowing could fall either way.

It's been a while since we saw a S8. Kind of another era. Kershaw pitched 7,33 innings per starts, so I'd be surprised to see a S8 in 2014.

They said he was an S8 on the ratings previews on twitter.

The 8 would indicated the inning he is subject to the fatigue rule, so if he was at 7.3 per start, I'd think he gets it.
