I agree the starting pitchers may get hammered. Not because they have an abundance of #s but rather because in Coors, especially with high caps, the added hits from batters cards run up pitch counts and cause early fatigue. Bullpen is usually key in a place like Coors. I prefer a deep, strong bullpen in such parks.

Agreed.

Smoltz while having a great card, isn't very helpful in Coors with the R1.

An R1 in Coors needs to be a specialist. And you can only afford 1 of those, 2 max. The rest need to have higher
R? ratings. The name of the game in a park that has both high single and HR ratings is avoiding fatigue. It is the fatigue that will transform what would otherwise have been a decent pitcher in to a firefighter with only a gas can at his disposal.

I'm not expecting a team low ERA being Coors, but I have been told that my team will have trouble scoring runs with this team being in Coors, am I missing something? I have never had Bonds, I have a hard time believing that he will do poorly there as well as Walker and Joe D. I have Griffith 54 & 57 and Target in my Division.

Not sure why people would say you will have trouble scoring runs. Though I do wonder what Willie Wilson is doing on your roster. I do not see how he cracks the lineup against RH pitching. Maybe against LH pitching he plays LF and Bonds moves to DH with Mattingly sitting. I wouldn't do that. But otherwise he is just a $4 mil bench jockey. Never waste that much money.

I second Valen's message. Looks like a nice lineup - use Bonds as your leadoff hitter against RHP. Also, no reason for Willie Wilson's big contract on the bench - you need a 4th OF that can hit LHP a little bit with a salary closer to $2 M.

Yep. Dump Wilson and put the money to upgrading Brouhard for a better platoon partner for Walker
