More than likely last 2013 team, starts tonight, as we wait for the new set. Looking for any suggestions on this team. Concerned about defense and power....any thoughts?

I play in Turner, other parks in my division are Citi, Dodger, and Yankee stadiums.....

Thanks,

Dale

I'd be concerned with an all RHP starting rotation....any LHPs out there? Kershaw, Sale, wood, Geo, Bumgarner, etc? I'd look to have 2 LHPs.

I'm sure others may differ in opinion, but I think Davis way too expensive for such an unbalanced card...i only used him once, and platooned him until I dumped him altogether. You can put Carp at first, and find the best hitter available to play DH.

I know you're concerned with D, but maybe Rasmus or Venable instead of Ells in CF? They provide a lot more power, and are still 2s in CF.

Replace Allen in LF/RF with a defensive upgrade...his bat doesn't outweigh his D.

Who's platooning with Gennett?

Not sure where your $$s would be after all that...but some other thoughts: Miller at Ss...Polanco platooning at 2b, or 3b if you grab a guy like Chavez.

Phew, that was a lot of typing on an iPhone! Post whatever changes you make, would love to see.

Pretty good start for your team.
I believe you can do worse. Tulo hasn't tripped on his own shadow, fell to the ground and shattered his leg, broke his arm, ripped up his shoulder, poked an eye out with the scissors he was holding upright while running, torn off his (what squirrels eat and carry them out of the store with) (family site and all that), hit his head on the dugout steps, broke his ankle while falling back into the rest of the team and putting them on the DL yet.

It does however look like he took some Braun like warm up swings in the dugout and wiped out a couple already.

Keep your chin up and protect it as he will be looking to break that during rehab.

Man I love Tulo!

PS
Thank God you have Altec in your division. I hear he is a newbie!

Tulo batting .172? Maybe he needs to get hurt to snap him out of his slump. I don't think Chasenally called out Bird Flu, Dengue Fever, Malaria, Ebola, or Rabies. He could get one or all of these on his way to the stadium.

Tulo 2013 was a bust for me every time.
