Play by Mail League
Posted: Sat Mar 07, 2015 8:28 pmIf any of you guys are into play by mail Strat and dynasty baseball, I am in a league that combines both. We hae had a manager resign for health reasons, and the season will be starting at the end of the month. There is still a waiver draft (for all undrafted players and all players who are released to comply with roster limits). This is a good thing for the new owner of the team, because it has a pretty good core but needs to pick up some bodies to be able to comply with usage limits. It also needs to get some more prospects into its pipeline.
It's a 26 team league, and the available roster features Kershaw, Hamels, Samardzija, deGrom, Ken Giles, and Koji Uehara on the mound and a decent offense led by Duda, LaRoche, Plouffe, Garrett Jones, and JJ Hardy. The minors features Tyler Kolek and a recovering Luke Hochevar.
