The Pre-Card Draft Keeper League completed its regular season last night, as the first one for the 2014 card set. See the league at http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/league/426213
Some of the highlights:
- Stanton beat out Trout for the MVP, even though neither of them could top Justin Turner's BA of .340 or OBP of .417
- With 25 wins, Cueto earned the CYA, even though 8 other starters had better ERA/Whip stats
- Arrieta (2.29/1.04) and Kershaw (2.46/1.07) led the way in ERA/WHIP
- Average team pitching of 3.89/1.28 was slightly worse than MLB at 3.79/1.26
- Average team batting of .253/.316/.410/.726 was a bit better than MLB at .245/.311/.385/.696
