another violation of the at least one batter rule for RP

a few weeks ago there was a post about the game engine allowing a a pitcher change in the middle of the first at bat against for the current relief pitcher --- relievers must face at least one batter through his at bat

happened again -- here, the engine allowed an error on a foul ball to be sufficient to allow a new pitcher to come in

this might have affected the outcome of the game, which my team lost 1-0 -- my team pinch hit Darren Ruf against a LHP (he's unbalanced toward that) and in the middle of his at bat a RHP came in -- then a LH batter pinch hit for HIM, but not an unbalanced hitter

I can see where the AI programming would be hard to fix in your example.

I have seen the rule violated in actual major league play--when a pitcher came in and hurt his arm on a pitch, though I can't remember who it was.

Another little glitch in the programming, this with stats--I have carried Chacin as a 5th Starter with 4* guys on two separate teams now--he has pinch hit when I ran out of regulars--but the stats do not show in the pitchers hitting stats--also the stats add incorrectly in the league totals (he had a hit and RBI in 1 AB)--he never threw a pitch though--I wonder if he had pitched an inning if his stats would show up.

From my experience, if a pitcher pinch hits in a DH league, the batting stat line never shows up, but the totals line did reflect the double and rbi. The pitcher was Max Scherzer's Cy Young year, so pitching 330 innings did not cause the hitting line to show up.
