My second completed team in 2014 -- lost finals in 7 (the other one, also high-injury, won the finals). Weird team -- won 91 games with only 62 HR, but outwalked opponents 549 to 328. Besides BB (most for hitters, fewest for pitchers), also led the league in doubles and triples.
Among league qualifiers, with PNC as the home park, Santana (5.91m) was in a virtual tie for 1st in OPS with Victor Martinez (870 and 869), first in BA (328), 3rd in OBP (368), 4th in SLG (501) -- and FWIW, 8th in SB (22), 1st in 3B (13). He was injured 5 times, for a total of an additional 22 games including the post-season. Obviously, not so great fielding: started at SS, where he was 92 for 123 in x-chances; and was 6 for 7 in CF. 8 errors total.
Check out Samardzija's great season (5.95m). 2.62/1.08 in more than 300 innings. Also Uehara (2.28M, 27 S, 6 BS), 2.05/0.93 in 101 innings --splitting closer with Watson (2.05M, 13 S, 1 BS, 2.08/0.78).
Gomes/Abreu platooning in LF -- OBP vs their pitching-side of 379 and 385, at a cost of 1.56m.
Scott Baker, 26 starts (1.06m) -- 17 BB in 142 IP!
Barrett (.67M) as RH specialist -- 1.68/0.88 in 59 IP.
