...and there are no leagues to join. Does anybody play this game?

Lot's of leagues forming, what card set do you want to play? I have a spot in an ATG 8 Post WWII league with extra credits as prizes offered if you are interested!

Unfortunately if you are looking to play the current player set, this is about the time things start slowing down. The new sets are released every March and things are very active then but as the real MLB season starts to wind down, things get a bit slower.

I hope you find a league to play in and have fun with the game.

What do you mean no leagues to join? Here is an ATG league with NL rules (no DH) and a $140 cap.

You can create your own league, but it may take a while to fill.

When I first joined I created the league my 1st team played in--put a note in that I was new and wanted to play against rookie managers---people joined like vultures circling for the easy kill.

If you do create a league, select the 5/10/20% drops so you can make changes cheaper early in the season to correct a mistake.

It was earlier in the year though. With labor day and football starting it's slow, and a lot of people wait for five or six to join before jumping in--but it seems to pick up in November when Strat gives discounted prices for 2 or 5 teams purchases (I have only created one other league in about 60 teams)

Did you get into a league? If you would like to start a 2014 league, and there isn't a league forming, or you need someone to fill it up, let me know! I'm game for it!
