The higher we set the F rating the longer the pitcher stays in-correct? Or is the other way around?

Yeah F8 means your pitcher is newly fatigued, F0 means he is shot. You really don't want them in there when they are even fatigued a little (like F8).

I don't totally agree with this. If you have a stud SP and a weak bullpen it still would be better to have your stud SP remain in the game at F8 or F7 even in my opinion. I do agree that you wouldn't want your simply good or worse SP in the game when they are fatigued.
