Dear SOM Baseball Family for SOM Online 20XX
This is my first time to write in this forum, let me introduce myself
I am known as Wolfman Shapiro (Rick "Wolfman" Shapiro) for those who have
read the old SOM Review. I am the editor for a FREE on-line
SOM Baseball newsletter known as the Ultimate Strat Baseball Newsletter.
I am happy to announce for our December 2015 issue, we had the pleasure to interview
Marc Pelletier who discussed a bit about the system he uses to compete in the tournaments
and leagues in this version of SOM on-line baseball.
To have a chance to read his interview, its easy, you go to the page below, signup for
the newsletter and in the welcome message we give you a link to our archive page where not
only is this issue shown but all the ones we have shared since January of 2013.

But dear SOM family this ain't all ... last year I had a chance to work with another legend
of the amazing strat gamers from this world of play - Bruce Foster (with the ATG leagues
and tournaments) and I made him a challenge - we called it the "Bruce Foster Challenge",
if he showed me his system, and helped me to make a team I would see how I would do.
I played one league in the Barnstormer's tournament by myself and our team was under .500
so you will also find after you join a series of articles how we did with his system
(a pitching - platoon - more non-power team)
so Now, I am happy to announce over the course of the next few months, Marc has
agreed to the "Marc Pelletier Challenge" and as soon as what you call 2016 leagues
are happening - I will go through the system he uses - and report it - in our next
issue Marc will be writing an article to discuss his system in more detail.
On behalf of the Ultimate Strat Baseball Newsletter, we wish all gamers in this
version of Strat a wondrous 2016 and success with your team (or teams)
our newsletter tries to cover all the versions of play from Face-to-Face, to leagues
using CMs and Netplay to tournaments (face-to-face, netplay, skype) and of course
we also cover when we can what the hecks happens in your world.
Also we welcome new writers and contributors - also thanks to cabobob (Dan) for
introducing us to Marc
2016 is gonna be another great year,
