Don't know if you've read this in the SOM newsletter
https://s3.amazonaws.com/som.com/Strat-O-Matic+News+Winter+2016.pdf?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=CLICK%20HERE%20TO%20DOWNLOAD&utm_campaign=SOM%20News%20Winter%202016%20EditionOn page 4, there is an announcement of new super advanced injury charts (with up to 60 game injuries) for both pitchers and batters. Do you think that this be in place for us here?

You had me worried...but in the example box: "Examples: A batter with 460 at-bats receives a 60- game injury. The maximum injury for him is 15 games, so he is injured 15 games instead of 60"
Phew!
But it may be pitchers with limited innings can be going up to 30 games...?

thirty games is 5 starts
I'd take that if it means I can pitch Strohman ....
also pitcher injury pretty rare

It says that the pitcher injury can occur when pitching to any batter and that every pitcher will have an individualized injury rating...so that a pitcher with a "6" rating could be injured when he rolls a 6-7 to any batter.

I like the new injury chart, but it should be based on plate appearances instead of AB's.
For example, Paul Goldschmidt, played in 159 games, 567 AB's, but had 118 walks (685 PA not counting sac flies, etc.), so he can be injured up to 15 games, instead of 3 games, that's a pretty big difference.

Still, 15 game injury chances double.
With a split of 19 or 20 batters under 600 PA will be hurt 15 games (maybe more if under 450 PA). High injury players will not be as valuable. This will especially impact players that are in the 450-600 PA range.
