Two dumb(?) questions

PostWed Feb 10, 2016 8:08 pm

As a long-time player here, I should be able to find these, but I can't.

1. Is there any website - through Strat, Diamonddope, or elsewhere - to set up a limited draft with a long time limit? For instance, can I set up a draft for 2015 player set (when it comes out) with four rounds of live-draft, with 60-minute time limit per pick? (After the four rounds, we would fill our teams with autodraft. The only way I know to do this is on this message board, but that has no automation for moving on when someone's time is up, nor does that have any queue for proxy picks.

2. Speaking of 2015 player set, is there a posting anywhere of defensive or offensive player data?

1. Have no idea.

2. Well depends on what "data" you are looking for. The ratings book and downloadable spreadsheets of the ratings book material have been released as purchasable products on Strat's site:

http://www.strat-o-matic.com/community/announcements/baseball-ratings-guides-now-available-purchase

If you are a member of SOMWORLD.com ( there is a yearly membership fee) there are all sorts of breakdowns of player data based on the just released ratings guide, from best pitchers for hitter's parks, to the best options for keepers at all positions.

If you are looking for a free website, the only thing available are the defensive ratings again on Strat's own site.

Check out Strat Draft. It's used a lot in regular Strat leagues.
