I know its probably premature for this but what are your early thoughts on the set? what players on your team are you most happy/unhappy with to this point? for me I'm finding this year to be much more offensive than 2014. I've got 30 mil in the staff and my era at Wrigley is 4.43 at this point. my .319 obp is better than anything I produced at Wrigley in the 2014 set.
so far I'd name x. bogaerts as my team mvp and j. Hahn as the biggest disappointment, with an era higher than his 5.64 salary.

Yes, it's a little early to draw conclusions, Harper has been putting up monster numbers for me, but whether he is worth the cost remains to be seen.

Agree it's a more offense oriented set. My league is very young, but so far the big money relievers are worth the price while the big money starters not so much. Grichuk is my early favorite hitter for the money.

2015 is one of those sets I dislike--similar to 2012 but worse--way too many BP HR makes small ball extremely difficult, unless you happen to get in a league with several small ball parks.

I put my 1st team in Marlins park (10,10/2,2), and can't get anyone out, especially the bullpen which has three 3M+ no BP singles allowed relievers--even A Miller has a 5+ ERA in almost 50 innings pitched-- and 7 or 8 HR's allowed just about 1/3rd into the season--my cheap Starting pitchers are putting up better numbers than the expensive ones--needless to say I am in last place--I just dumped all my higher priced starters for cheap ones--if my team ERA is going to be 5 in Marlins park anyway, why waste money???

So far, DEFINITELY a higher scorer set then 2015... case in point, my 3 games tonight for one team:

10-9
18-14
22-18

I lost game 3 after leading 16-7 after 6 innings. :(

My team ERAs are 2.52 (36 games), 3.5 (57 games), and 3.3 (57 games). Haven't really had that much success with any team but all of them are doing ok. I went with a Citizen's Bank team, went all power, and that one is probably my best team. Den Dekker, Scoop and Gutierrez have been good values. Mychal Givens is a stud. In fact, I am having trouble not justifying going with a big three reliever strategy--it's just too effective. Brandon Morrow has been good on two teams. I went with a left-handed power strategy in Petco but I had to make all kinds of changes to that team, it wasn't put together well. And I put together a Fenway team with on-base but did not get enough power. Last year I scored a ton of runs in Fenway. This year my hitting is terrible and my pitching is great. Not sure what is going on there.

Right now, I feel pretty good about putting together a power team in a hr park. Other than that, I don't know. The teams if you want to compare:

thanks for the feedback guys. I, like a lot of you, feel I need to make wholesale changes. unfortunately i'm in one of the glitched 20% leagues. it seems this credit was wasted except to monitor the set as a whole.

I have noticed that 100 million dollar leagues are about as high as I would want to go or else some teams are going to have considerably higher payrolls than others... In other words, any more than 100 grand and you might have trouble spending all your money..... Though I would love to try an unlimited cap in conjunction with a live draft.

My team MVP was Miguel Cabrera (whom I may have never used before) until he went down for 15 games...

Michael Brantley is doing a lot better in my CD-ROM Indians' replay than in my 100 million dollar league where he is facing tougher pitching...

Next I would like to do an 80 million dollar league or as I mentioned before a live draft with unlimited cap...

Franchise leagues are tough, at least for me, though I would maybe do a two team franchise league or maybe even better a 5 half team league...

My Marlins Park teams is doing the opposite. Success with high price starters. team ERA about 3. However, the catch is this team is doing much better on the road.
