I need some advice on 6 team, and non DH leagues. Advantages? Disadvantages?

I'm still a prospect so i'll take all the help I can get.

Thanks,

6 team leagues are great for small player sets. For example, in the 20th Century Keeper League, we are in the 9th of 10 seasons, playing decade-by-decade. Only a 6 team league could do that in ATG8, prior to the expansion era.

6 team leagues also tend to fill quickly and have less drama than 12- or 24-team ones. On the downside, there are no playoffs, so you can end up with co-champions if the top 2 are tied at the end of the season.

6 -team leagues I find boring. No pennant race drama.
Non-DH leagues are tougher because it allows HAL more freedom to make a bunch of bullpen moves.

Thank you for all of your advice so far...

This is the team I've drafted...http://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1426444

I spent 3 mil total on two pinch hitters (9L and 9R)with pop in their bats. I figure Hal will be pinch hitting more with no DH. Is that money well spent? or is it a waste?

I think I may need one more right handed power bat. Shall I try to replace kipnis, revere, or polanco?

And does the winner of the league at least win a credit?

Thanks again for all of the advice.
