My team plays at citizens and they're getting clobberd in HRs. I missed out on
A lot of RH power in the draft and haven't recovered well. They aren't hitting lefties
either. Thinking about dumping Donaldson who has been slumping but it's mostly
Because of the poor luck with the dice.

Thinking about picking up carpenter at 3rd for Donaldson and Stanton for peralta
In left. However, will HAL allow me to play either Cruz or Stanton in left if they
Are both only RF on their cards?

Any other ideas ? I'll take any advice I can get.

I'm sure there are other problems that I haven't mentioned.

Thanks!

u need a lefty bat/a power bat..-1-12 for lefty hitters is still a good ratio. Stanton is great but the money and injury not worth it for value

Well, you're +11, so you're not doing that bad. I note you are spending 9 million on three relievers who have 35 innings total in 24 games. You have a weak center fielder in Dyson. Donaldson does not have great power for almost 10 million and Santana is not a good fit for a power park. So...go cheaper at 3rd (get a power bat, With at least 10 total hr including BP), look for a center fielder with power ((Dekker would be great and cheap if available), cut the money you are spending on 3 relievers, and put Stanton in at DH (he will do great in that park, get him)Your starting pitchers are all better against lefties in a park that favors righty power and only Duffy has really low hrs in a park that extremely favors hrs, so if you need money try finding a starter for cheaper money that might better fit your ballpark. I would keep Peralta. That's what I would do.

I agree that Stanton is a beast in that park, just be sure he's backed up well

Donaldson is OK to me---your issue is the players you missed probably aren't very replaceable--I went through the whole league and anyone I would tell you to go get is just about taken.

I would try to get a better bat in CF, and in Southern slang "You ain't go'in nowhere with Goins" in my opinion--even lefty Johnson will get you more runs--try to get some more pop even if you have to downgrade starters.

here is my recent team with Donaldson--admittedly an unconventional team salary wise, and look at the Slippin Jimmes in the Central division--we both had the same idea pre-season--just I was in a more pitching heavy division (so I faced weaker hitters) so my staff looks better, but really isn't.

1) too many "w" hitter and not enough BP homeruns on a couple others.
2) Ceurto could start every 4th game so you are losing 8 or 9 starts with him in a 5 man rotation
3) Payroll being lost sitting in the bullpen. Would get rid of Giles and use money to add power. Don't know who is available
4) I used Stanton once at Citizen's and he was awful. Fair amount of homeruns, but super low avg and oba. Dropped him when he got his second 15 game injury. Not someone I would use again.

But if you get lucky on the injury rolls....

Small sample size, wait until 36-39 games have played and you can still make moves at 5%. Don't rush things this early.

WOW. NICE!
My Citizens team is event 1 in the Players Championship. I couldn't afford to wait around another 15 games for Stanton to return. The amazing thing is rolls were 118 Stanton card to 77 pitchers and yet he sucked.
