almost as strange: you scored the only run on a double play for the 3rd out.

Lots of great fielding to back up Greinke - 11 successful "x" plays!!

so with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out, Simmons hits a FB runner tags and scores and throw gets Bradley going to 3rd, but once run scored, the out wouldn't have counted. right?

also Greinke's 2nd No-hitter this season for me, he opened the season with a No-Hitter. Too bad I just couldn't muster enough offense this season. Wasted a great year from Greinke.

Amazing. I don't want to diminish Greinke's greatest pitched game ever too much, but the Liverpool Pirates lineup is horrible, particularly vs. righties. ugh. I think I could have thrown 6 shutout innings against that bunch!

In this case, yes, anyone know if SOM treats it like that every time?

I want to know why any right fielder would throw to third in that situation anyway. If there's a play it has to be to home.

One situation(s) that comes to mind:
The runner on 3rd is very fast (no chgance to get him) and / or the runner going to third is either very slow and got a bad start. The OF thought he had a better chance to make the out at third before the winning run scored.
