Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

As a diehard Clemson fan from birth, I live 12 miles from campus, I'm interested in seeing how the Strat community votes on who will win the National Championship game this coming Monday. Sorry if I'm overstepping my bounds by putting a football poll in a baseball forum.

I like that there is no real homefield advantage in the Championship Game. If Clemson's defense is able to shut down Alabama's running game as they did vs Ohio State it should be a tight game with one of those last possessions winning on a field goal. I am no Alabama fan. so I will be pulling for Clemson all the way. Just like last year - which was one of the great ones.

I'm picking the mild upset. I'm not sure that is really going out on a limb- But Clemson proved they can put up points and they can play just enough defense to win. Roll Tide? Roll dice enough times and it will be Clemson's turn.

If I had to bet my house, Alabama.

I think trhat aside from going for the 1st down instead of punting on that 1st offensive series and giving Alabama such good field position, it has been a pretty even game and might even be tied at the half. Definitely a bigger defensive battle than last year. In the 2nd quarter it looked like Clemson was starting to get some rhythm. Maybe a better offensive half for Clemson in the 2nd half. But they have to stop giving up 7 yards a carry against Bama's offense if they're going to pull this out.

Boulware's going to be a really high pick this year. So is Bama's front 7.
