Andrew McCutchen

Does Andrew McCutchen really deserve to be a 3 in CF, he was a 1 for several years in a row?

I did not get to see him play enough games to make my own assessment.

This is a bummer because it makes him almost unusable in most on-line draft leagues.

According to various defensive metrics, Cutch was possibly the worst regular in CF last year.

You're right, his card will not get used much. He is only rated for CF, rated as a 3, a bad base stealer, and his just ok hitting is not DH material. And no extreme splits where you could use him in a platoon.

He was awful in the field. But in his defense, he did play hurt for most of the year.

The two worst CFers I saw last year were Tyler Naquin and Trea Turner.
