DH depth chart

I seem to remember there's a glitch in the depth charts regarding the DH -- like, there won't be the designated double-substitution if a position player in the same line-up is listed as the DH injury sub, or something more or less like that.

Anybody remember what I'm referring to? What is it?

HAL can't do a "third" move in the depth chart. Let me give you an example:

RF gets hurt. You want to move your DH to RF for the following game(s). HAL will do that. However, say you want your LF to assume DH. That's a third move and it may or may not be performed correctly, depending on your bench.

I've seen more than a few on here say that HAL won't move the DH out of the DH slot to a position. I've found this untrue. My DH has moved to a position many times successfully.

It will not move anyone that is in position 1 of the depth chart to another position. Don't male a primary into a backup.

I've had success moving a DH to another position after an injury (I especially like to do it with two good hitting high injury catchers)--just make sure your DH is listed as a backup to whoever, and backup DH is a guy that's not being used as backups elsewhere.

A common situation for me is I have a backup DH that is a LF/RF (or any position), and also he's the logical guy to backup both RF and LF, Don't list him as a backup for RF or LF (just leave it blank)--Hal with be forced to used him as your DH when the DH is hurt or when the DH is covering another injured player, and Hal will figure it out with the normal position players.
