Jean Segura is a 4 at SS... He should be at least a 3!

Maybe I am wrong about Segura, does anyone have an opinion on this matter?

For me, that has to be one of the most shocking ratings I've seen. I watch the Mariners, I had him down for a cinch 2 with a shot at a 1.

I didn't see him play last year, but if the figures are to be believed he was 10% below league average in range factor/game and range factor/9inn and .013 below the league fielding average. He was below average in Total Zone Total Fielding Runs Above Average as well as Defensive Runs Saved. Maybe somebody who watched him regularly in Seattle can weigh in.

He was a 3-e23 at the end of the 2017 Daily set.

Maybe he just looked better to me after watching Katel Marte for a year

His card is a waste of paper. I also don't understand the 4 range. He was able to at least move at SS. I did see many games on TV and a 4 is a horrible range factor for him. He should have been a 3.

According to ESPN 2017 fielding stats: He is 18th in SS fielding Pct. He is 20th in Range Factor.

By definition 3 is an average fielder. If he is below average then a 4 is appropriate.
