So I tried this last year and failed. I would at least like to have a competitive team using all players with a 4 range, Except the pitcher. Anyone try this before and have had success?
Any suggestions...I assume I may want a low singles ballpark and focus on outfield arms and low error ratings. And good pitchers of course.

I tried it once about 5 years ago but there were a couple issues. Not only are you at a disadvantage versus your opponents because you will be giving up more hits and turning fewer double plays, sometimes you will be paying a higher salary for a guy in relation to how you are using him. IE You draft a very good RF who is a 2 or 3 in RF but a 4 in CF. You are paying a higher price because he is a 2 or 3 defender but you will insted be using that player at his worst position. I did not make the playoffs and may have finished third or fourth in the division.

I'm trying again. Going to try and use primary position. And not use any 3 ranged position players. I decided I will have .50 players to use as defensive subs. There are still 4 spots open in Auto League 438211 as of 8pm 10/10.
This was the last time I tried this...I wound up at .500 but I cheated slightly and had 2 catchers with a 2 rating.

This was my failed attempt: I spent money on SP primarily (back when you could buy 4 good *SP)

thanks! I am putting a lot of money to pitching also. 5 decent starters and one solid R2 relief pitcher. All have 0 or low bp homeruns in a homerun friendly stadium. Hopefully the ballpark helps.
