I am wondering...tie game, bottom of 10th inning one out, runner on third. Surely the infield is in.
Rolls straight GbA. How is that a fielder's choice and run scores?

Thanks. I understand what a FC is. My question is how does it happen on a straight gbA? I see nothing in the SOM rules that allows a runner to score from third on a gbA with infield in.

There's nothing indicating the infield was in. That being the case a gbA to second with a runner on third results in the runner scoring. HAL makes the wrong decision? !

Haha, that is very true!! I would think that, since I have my "infield in" set for the 3rd inning, and when it was the 10th inning of a tie game, HAL would naturally bring the infield in. However, you are probably right that they did not.
