I have a Q for you. When there is an injury in your line up does HAL move Contreras in to the #2 slot in your line up? I have him hitting 6th vs both RH and LH pitching but when ever anyone is hurt HAL moves him to 2nd even if my regular # 2 hitter is healthy. Just wondering if that happens to anyone else.

Through 21 game he has a .388 obp vs RH but .231 vs LH and he has hit 2nd in 18 games, 1 in the lead off spot and 2 in my desired slot of 6th.

While I don't have him on any of my teams, I believe HAL tries to put OB at the top of the lineup.

That's what I thought too but I have others with better both card obp and sim results obp. It is working vs RH as he has a .456 obp, not vs LH .291. I may actually move him to the 2 slot vs RH and just give in. His slg was down in 2018 so no loss there having him in the 2 hole.

IDK what his running is but usually a catcher in the 2 hole can clog the base paths...

He is an 11 runner so yeah not ideal but HAL is going to put him there every time I have an injury so nothing I can do. My lead off is Juan Largares so he is injured quite a bit and Lonnie Chisenhall in my line up VS RH so he gets hurt quite a bit too. it is a 24 team keeper league so rosters can get a little thin. On a positive note it seems to be working so far. I'm fifth in runs scored though 81 games and have a 4 game lead in my division.
