Can anyone explain...why Sparkman seems to be an effective pitcher in this game?

Lucky dice? In my current league, he’s 0-4 with an ERA of 6 and a 2 WHIP (not my team). Have you had consistently good results with him?

100 IP 4.68 1.58 (Great American)
110 IP 3.49 1.31 (Citizens)
105 IP 4.29 1.42 Great American)
90 IP 3.40 1.33 (Great American)
85 IP 6.05 1 75 (National)
95 IP 5.19 1.49 (Citizens)
I don't know why I tried him at National. But at Citizens/Great American he generally did job...generally not losing the game before the R3 came him to bail him out in the 4th.
