Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

I have Trevor Gott on my team who has a pretty good pitching card. He has been getting hit pretty hard on a regular basis. I have been patiently waiting for his stats to turn around. Should I drop him now before its too lat? Am I missing something about his card relative to my home park?

I am a relative newbie and didn't understand closer ratings when I drafted this team. So I realize I could have used someone with a better closer rating. However, I don't think the dropping Gott would get me that at this point given the 20% penalty. Thoughts?

never drop anyone when you have a 6 game lead late in the season----Gott should be your 1st out of pen really, not a closer (I may not even set a closer with your pen) He should be a bit better on average than he has been, but with strat on-line--guys get bombed more often--just the way it is with better hitters than average hitting all the time.

Gott is being put in as a middle man. I checked some of his outings and bad luck hitter card rolls are to blame. he was not fatigued.

My advice - drop Hale and Duplantier for the best CL available for that money. Duplantier is not needed on that team and Hale is so-so for the salary. Good luck.

Bottom line, you're 79-62. --No changes need to be made.-- Scumby pointed out the bad hitter rolls. Forget Gott's numbers and ride this to the finish line.

Advice for Next time/team, you will need a more viable Closer. You got away with it here, but you were lucky.
