Hi-
24 team keeper league...should be a contender, eve of season:
Engine requires 11 pitchers, so I HAVE to put a .94m scrub on my active roster. My fault as I drafted thinking I only needed 5 SP and 5 RP. Anyway...
What is the best way to hide a poor RP on a decent staff? Like guarantee the fewest possible innings? He's an R2/C0 BAL R1. The other higher salary RPs ALL have closer ratings too.
I know to put him on a quick hook and limit to 1-2 innings...I suppose not list him in any role. Once I tried to put someone like this as "mopup" and he pitched way too often.
Thoughts?

Rule 1 -make sure it is a R1 card with no closer rating.
Others will have ti\o fill in the rest, I can't figure out the new RP rules.

Not a veteran, but, I preferred to give my bad relievers a definite role. Otherwise they might get plugged in anywhere. My 500k guys wound up pitching about 20 innings.
RH/LH specialist are good ones. And usually you can find a 6+R or 6+L guy pretty cheap. Also make sure you put them at the bottom of your relief role list, since that order counts.

I agree with Scumby. The R2 is the problem. If you can you need to drop him and get a R1. Hal will get a R2 innings.

Why cant you drop him and pick up a starter only .5 guy? Hal will never use him then. 0 innings.

also set him to avoid lefties or righties that will decrease usage as well....
