on my latest x chart a center fielder with a 1 fielding rating and a zero error rating has no chances for a hit or error.
on my 365 team my center fielder has such rating yet has given up singles twice. is my chart out of date or is the 365 game engine wrong?

I know that the computer version of Strat Baseball uses different rules than the Boardgame version. There are rare plays in both that could cause a hit and there are plays where you can try for an extra base in the computer version that isnt in the SADV rules of the boardgame. For all I know, there may be other things that can affect a play. I have seen where an outfielder makes on error on a roll off of the batters card which isnt in the board game rules.

But generally speaking, a 1e0 outfielder should never give up a hit or error.

Outfield in? Fluke play? Home field advantage? Tired pitcher? ... I know bringing the "infield in" will cause a 1 to become a 2 and so on. I am not sure about outfield range adjustments.

The outfield *can* be in, but that wouldn't affect the CF range. I think that Eddie is probably right. They do some "special" things in the computer game that cannot happen in the board game.

If you post the play by play, maybe some possible explanation will become apparent.
