The Term "Weaseled" to Mean "My Draft Pick Was Taken"

I’ve been in SOM leagues with a group of guys since 2003. Guys have come and gone over the years, but the core group has remained. We routinely use the term “weaseled” with a very specific meaning: “I was weaseled” = “A player I had queued up was selected by someone ahead of me in the draft.” (To be “officially” weaseled means the top player in your draft queue was selected by person immediately ahead of you in the draft.)
This terminology has spilled into other fantasy sports leagues I have been in with some of these guys and by now is so second-nature to me I had assumed it was widespread among participants in fantasy/simulated sports leagues. I can’t recall any instances of anyone new joining a league I was in and asking, “What do you mean by being weaseled?” I tried to Google to find an example of someone using this term in this way, however, and did not come up with anything. So now I am maybe thinking that this is an idiosyncrasy of my group.
I just thought I would post here to see if other people use this term.
