Help with Stolen Base Settings

I could use some guidance on Stolen Base Settings.

I am in the playoffs facing in the 2 games starting pitchers with Hold = +4 and 0 and the 2 catchers on this team are 3(+2) and 4(+2).

I would like to take advantage of stolen bases. I have batters rated as an A, one as AA and one as B.

How should I set up my Team Strategy for Base Stealing and should I update the individual hitters to to Steal "More".

Any guidance or prior forum posts would be great. I get a little unclear on Team Strategy Base Stealing vs Individual Batter Settings of "More". Just for the record all my other batters with C grade and below I have flagged as Don't Steal.

Thanks.

I would set your batters to steal more and your team strategy yo stealing very aggressive.

Ignore the steal letter ratings for your players. Those are used in the Basic game while the online games uses the super-advanced rules. I use the following guideline:

4-8/- (18-16) If the second number in parentheses is 13 or higher I will set the player to steal more. I read this on the boards years ago and always have a steal % of >70%. Also, it has been posted many times that a base stealing setting of "Very Aggressive" leads to many unwanted steals of 3B. Beware.

In your case, the SP's and catchers you will be facing may give you some leeway.

Check out the "Stealing" section:
