Three errors in three consecutive plays

So, Freddy Patek pulled an extremely rare hat trick last night as he booted three consecutive gb(SS)x plays in the top of the 9th with (of course) 2 outs in this game:.

For those not familiar with this set, he is a 2e32, so certainly prone to errors.

Details like this are pretty hard to come by, but I don't see any evidence that this has ever happened in MLB history. In the very rare historic occurrences of 3 errors in an inning by a single player, there is almost always 2 errors on the same play (like misplaying a grounder, then throwing it away) or at least one out in between some of the errors. But, as I said, these are hard to research so maybe someone else can come up with one. Needless to say it's ultra rare....

Obviously, incredibly rare as you indicate. That said, Willie Davis of the Dodgers pulled virtually the same feat in the '66 World Series vs. the Orioles. 3 errors in the same inning by 1 player. I seem to recall that 1 was a throwing error and 2 were actual muffs, but I could be wrong. So I guess it wasn't exactly the same but very close now that I think about it.The Dodgers, who were arguably the top fielding team in the majors at the time, committed 6 errors total for the game. Sandy Koufax took the "L". I was 15 at the time and it was so unusual I still remember watching it on TV. Here's a link for you; I'm sure there are several...

I have a landmark inning of my own that I believe has never been duplicated. I contacted a couple of baseball historians who told me that what I did has probably been done over the panorama of the millions (billions?) of baseball games that have ever been played, but they personally had never heard of it. So, what I did may in fact be unique!

What I did was throw out 3 runners at the plate in the same inning from center field. If anyone else is aware of someone doing this, I'd like to hear about it.

That WS game is slightly different in that 2 errors did occur during the same AB. After the first error, it Looks like Davis dropped the fly ball then made a bad throw to 3rd allowing another runner to advance. My game was three consecutive at bats with the ball hit to the same player and committing an error. Splitting hairs for sure. There are also a couple of instances of an individual player making three errors on the same play, also involving multiple throwing errors. (I witnessed this personally in little league. Lol).

It wasn't the same inning, obviously, but I had the same player, Frank Thomas, thrown out at the plate 3 times in one game. I'd have a hard time believing that it has happened before, but at least a rarity.
