Parts excerpted from the real world of the Internet:

Duvall hits 2nd 2-run homer for 9-8 walk-off win over Os

Baltimore went ahead 7-1 on Mullins' homer before Boston rallied behind Duvall, who fell a single shy of the cycle.

Two pitches later, the Boston Red Sox were celebrating at home plate and walking off with their first win of the season, 9-8 over the Orioles on Saturday behind Adam Duvall's second two-run homer.

My rant:

I'll agree, hitting for a cycle is noteworthy. There's something awesome about having that double, triple and homerun. However, the single is way overrated in my opinion. Adam Duvall had his double, triple and homerun but lacked a single, missing out on the cycle. Instead, he hit a homerun and won the game. I found it amusing that his "fell a single shy" was noted in this article. Does anyone on his team or their fans feel disappointed? Hitters, don't settle for a cycle when you can get another extra base hit. You will be more of a slugger than those "cycle" hitters.

Even more noteworthy was Baltimore letting a simple pop fly into shallow left fall in just before that walk-off HR.
