fatigue rating question

PostFri May 12, 2023 11:08 pm

Can someone please explain why Steele pitched to Trevino in the 7th inning when his fatigue setting was F8?

if you are talking about the DONT RELIEVE BEFORE F setting ... then you have requested that he NOT be relieved BEFORE F8 which he wasnt. As a S5 he wont pitch past 7 innings (unless you set things up differently) and wont be relieved until he gives up three combo walks/hits from the fifth inning on (again unless you set things up differently). I hope that helps if I understood your question correctly

I don't think this is correct. He was at F7 so he had passed F8. The "three combo walks/hits" thing applies to the card and dice game. In 365 it is replaced by the pitcher fatigue system.

I think the answer to the question is that the "don't relieve before" setting stops(usually) HAL from relieving a pitcher before he reaches that level, but it doesn't automatically cause him to be removed when he does reach that level. Perhaps in combination with quick hook it would be more likely to happen.

Thanks for the input, it's true that I play the dice and board game in a league so the three batter hit/walk rule may not apply here.
