Which Outfielder Makes The Throw?

I know in the board game if a hit shows on the card without a position, if a throw is needed, you are to use the Center Fielder.

What is the case here for the computer game...is it always also from the Center Fielder.....or what distribution plan is used that will have some come from left and right?

Thanks

Here's what I think based on review of play-by-play (the pbp always indicates the fielder, even if the card doesn't).

Unspecified doubles that occur on splits are always to the centerfielder.

Unspecified hits with * or ** are distributed to lf, rf, and cf. In 365 these can still involve a throw since the max rule "more baserunning decisions" is in force.

This wasn't an exhaustive search so someone may find an exception to the above.

Not positive but I think unspecified DO and SI are distributed to OF by a random 1 die roll--3 chances of the 6 go to CF, if a RH hitter 2 to LF and 1 to RF, and if a LH hitter 2 to RF and 1 to LF---I can't find the rule, but I seem to remember that from the past.

edit:

I found this, but can't find a super-advanced change---so I guess this is the rule:

(13.1) Advanced

Use Basic rules 2.1 through 2.22 with the following modifications:
An outfielder's throwing arm will affect all baserunning attempts for an additional base on singles and doubles not followed by asterisks. Such hits on the Advanced side of player cards show which outfielder should be used (cf, lf, rf). If there is no outfield symbol, assume the throw is to be made by the center fielder.
