if I understand below correctly, it doesn't make sense

TOP OF INNING 10
SUBSTITUTION at P: Horacio Pina (R)
0 H.Greenberg 2-12 Walk b-1 F9
0 1 J.Torre 3-10 Single (RF) 1-2 b-1 F9
0 12 I.Suzuki 3-5 Single (RF) 2-3 1-2 b-1 F9
0 123 A.Wilson 4-10 Single (SS) 3-H 2-H 1-3 b-1 gb(SS)x F9
0 1 3 C.Flood sqz Sac Bunt (1B) 3-H 1-2 b-0 F9
1 2 R.Hayworth 5-12 Ground Out (2B) 2-3 b-0 gb(2B)x F9
SUBSTITUTION at PH: Doug Flynn (R)
2 3 D.Flynn 3-11 Ground Out (2B) b-0 F9

so, on Suzuki's hit, Torre reached third base and Suzuki reached first base ?

and then, on Wilson's "ground ball", which turned into a single, not only the runner from 1st (suzuki) scored FROM FIRST BASE on either a INFIELD HIT or a SINGLE ?

and, the batter, Wilson reached THIRD BASE ?

all of this without any errors ???

am I reading the stats incorrectly ?

none of that makes sense no matter how fast Suzuki or Wilson are

You're reading it incorrectly. Suzuki, the runner on first base, went to third (1-3). Wilson, the batter , went to first (b-1).

sorry, TWO runs scored on Wilson's hit ?

one from first base....one a ground ball infield hit or one that barely got by the fielder (didn't go to the fence, etc.) (groundball x)

and the hitter Wilson (1-3) ends up on 3B on the same weak hit

my original question:

does it make sense for the runner on 1st to score on such a weakly hit ball without any errors, and the same, does it make sense for the hitter to end up on 3rd after the bases cleared on such a weak hit ?

On Wilson's hit to SS, Greenberg scores from 3rd, Torre from second (probably on the throw to 1st. Suzuki ends up at 3rd. I'm guessing all runners were moving with bases loaded and the SS probably knocked the ball down and his only play was to 1st.

I understand the 2nd runner wasn't at 1b (my original misread) so the only question is when the runner is running up the 1st base line, and beats the throw (or IF hit) how does he end up at 3rd ?....on a throw home ?.....there's no error, so advancing more than one extra base doesn't make sense

thanks for input

Wilson reaches first- and stays there until Flood sacrifices Suzuki home and Wilson to 2nd.

Hank walks …runner at 1B

Torre singles …runners 2b and 1st

Ichiro’s single loaded the bases.

Wilson hit into a FC(1 out) with the SS getting the runner at 2B leaving runners at the corners

Flood the executed the squeeze( 2 outs)scoring the runner from 3rd with the other runner staying at 2b

PH grounded out to end the inning ( 3 outs)
