12 Team Perpetual League - 1 Manager Needed

PostMon Apr 22, 2024 5:17 pm

We have a perpetual league on the go and we are looking for 1 new manager. This league has been going strong for many years and several existing managers have been playing together for a long time. We are looking for a manager that want to start at the 2015 season with existing teams and we'll work our way to the most current set. Whoever wants to join should know that there a few in the league that love to chirp so please feel free to feed it back in spades. The more chirp the better. The details of the league are as follows:

We start with the 2007 set and have $100M cap. 24 man roster until 2018 and beyond where we will require a 25 man roster. DH rules apply. Regular sets only going forward. We’ll play with waivers 2 days after the draft and there will be the 5, 10, 20 drop rule. The 2007 draft will be a random auto draft. At game 142 of each season we will start the draft process for the next season.

The draft process will consist of 4 rounds before we go into the auto draft.

Round 1 - each team submits 3 keepers
Round 2 - free agent/steal round (in order from last to first as of game 142 - tie breakers decided by run differential then head to head)
Round 3 - free agent/steal round (in order from last to first as of game 142 - tie breakers decided by run differential then head to head)
Round 4 - each team submits 2 keepers

The free agent/steal rounds allows you to pick any player that hasn’t already been kept or stolen. A manager can’t have more than 2 players stolen from their roster.

I will post the draft progress after each round.

After all is said and done each manager will have 7 guys going into the auto draft. You will list these players last in your list..

First come, first serve. If you reply soon you will be able to take part in the draft process as we're nearing the end of the 2014 season.

Cheers,

Mike
