One-of-a-kind keeper league seeks new manager to replacing retiring manager. As the league name suggests, you have the opportunity to reshape your rosters numerous times during each calendar year. Each draft offers a different twist as well, since no two draft formats are exactly the same. We have 40-man active rosters, as well as 20-man "minor leagues" comprised of prospects. Check out team8 (highlighted in yellow) on the league spreadsheet to see the current team roster. The final draft of this calendar year, limited to players who made their MLB debut in 2024, will be held in a few weeks.

All drafts are 4 rounds, except for the spring free-agent draft where a team is allowed a maximum of 12 picks.

If you have not yet tried playing in a keeper league, you should give it a try. Once you do, it will most likely become an addiction since it is such a fundamentally different experience than playing in the one-and-done leagues. You will also make friendships that can last a lifetime.

We will be conducting three separate drafts, two free-agent drafts and one prospect draft, prior to the start of 2024 season play when the new card set drops, so the new manager of this squad will have ample opportunity to rebuild the roster to his or her liking before the team actually takes to the field. Given that each team controls roughly 60 players, there is also ample opportunity to strike trades with the other managers in the league. One such example that paid dividends for both teams was the trade of Marcus Semien for Christian Walker, an exchange that resulted in both teams making playoff runs.
