Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

Hi Everyone,

I am the Commissioner of a Face to Face Strat League based in Newark, Delaware. We are a 20 team league that has played continuously since 1982. We play a four or five game series once a week from March-October and are looking for a manager to join the league. Remember that it is face to face and not on line. What level of experience with Strat-O-Matic is ideal for someone joining your league, or are beginners welcome as well? Retro Bowl College

Beginners are welcome. I joined the league in 2000 and had never heard of Strat. I was in a Baseball Rotisserie league and someone invited me to try it. Most guys in the league had played as a kid but had been away from it due to work, family, etc. Here is a link to our Website

I had my only face to face leagues as a teen first in Huntington Beach Ca with friends, and then later in San Francisco with a group of adults in a football league....it was actually really fun as a 17 year old cause these guys would smoke doobies all games....we'd each play 2 full games every "game day" which was either every Sunday or every other Sunday until league end......Id have to drive a borrowed used car from the car dealership my mom worked at and arranged (thanks mom), and drive 90 minutes from the east bay to SF......but once there, it was sports heaven....they all treated me like an adult, and it was fun

otherwise, I've been stuck playing fantasy sports for the past 25 years (fun and successful) and only 365 around a year now.....

wish SOM would fix major issues with HAL, but otherwise enjoy the game, and more so all of the REALLY KIND AND KNOWLEDGEABLE people in this community....can't say enough how impressed I am with everybody's forthcomingness and willing to help others......
