The decimals are only used in the Mystery leagues, and simply represent the average of the injury ratings for the five possible seasons for that particular player. For example, for the 1960s Willie Mays' five possible seasons ('60, '64, '65, '66, and '68) carry injury ratings of 1, 1, 1, 1, and 2. Average them together and it comes to 1.2. Of course, if Mays' card on your team turns out to be 1968, your particular version of Mays will be dealing with an injury rating of 2.
